Ron's RanI've been coaching hockey for over 45 years and today a friend sent me an Instagram post on some drills a coach was doing. I finally had enough and had to say something. The game is evolving and many coaches are running drill training and not skills. Mechanics has gone by the wayside and players are repeating drills that are more counterproductive than helpful. More is not better and different isn't always better but one thing for sure is that PRACTICE MAKES PERMANENT and only PERFECT PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT. SO, that being said, you had better be careful what you practice!t 1
